Аbstract: The study presents a model of the shielding of gravitational fields by
cosmic protons. Gravity shielding is based on a principle. An elementary
particle with a rest mass. In free fall. Shields all the gravitational fields in which
it is located. In this paper, the intensity of the gravitational field from an infinite
cosmic half-space is determined. The cross section of the proton shielding the
gravitational field is determined. The radius of action of gravitational forces in
space is calculated. The formula for calculating the distance to the galaxy from
its "red" shift is obtained. The lifetime of a photon in space is calculated. The
size of the visibility horizon of the Universe is determined.
